Beschreibung:
"This book is based on the
experience of several years playing chess and is written as a result of the
working on a lot of books dealing with chess tactics. Its primary aim is to
entertain the reader, since the study of a combination of genius gives much
pleasure to those who like chess. The tactical blows give you much help to
understand the tactical mysteries of the positions and sometimes you can
discover very rare and brilliant ideas when the combination needs making an
extreme move. The book gives you the opportunity to know the chess world
champions in such a way that you can put yourself through the mill reading it
and improve your knowledge and tactical skills in the meanwhile. Beyond the
fact that the combinations are interesting and vivid, they introduce the style
of the given age and the development of chess by their outstanding creators. It
is obvious that the study of the art of an excellent chess player - especially
a world champion - is always worth your while. The author did not want to set
one world champion before another by his results and success and greatness.
Nevertheless the world champions from the beginning of this century have fewer
combinations in this book due to the fact that they had a smaller number of
competitions having fewer chances to create tactical blows. The use of the book
is the most effective then, if you examine the diagram of the position first
and try to find the solution. If you do not succeed in solving it in this way,
read the analyses which have lots of aids and also insures the beginner chess
player having less routine to understand the important attributes of the given
position. Finally, as a last resort, study the solution but it is only
recommended as an ultimate phase. The author hopes that he will afford his
readers, who like the art of chess, much pleasure and a pleasant pastime by
this book. He wishes them successful solutions and having a good time."
